Kilfinan Press is an independent publisher of non-fiction run along traditional lines. We currently publish on work, business and management; on family and parenting; on politics, society and ethics; and on parenting and family relationships.
We love bookshops and like to work with them wherever possible. Our books are produced initially as print titles and only after a few weeks as e-books, and sometimes audio. Our e-book pricing is in line with that of our print books. Our print books are produced to a professional standard by our experienced typesetting and production team, and printed in the UK.
Freelances
We work with a trusted team of freelances and some volunteers: reviewing manuscripts, proofreading, copyediting, design, typesetting and sales. If you share our vision and are gifted and experienced in one of these areas, then do please drop us a line. Please send your CV, an introductory letter, a sample of your work if appropriate, and a note of your fee structure. We look forward to hearing from you.
Reviewers
We are looking to build a community of reviewers who would be interested in receiving a copy of each book (or specified genres) we publish and posting an honest review on their own social media/blog pages. Please do get in touch with us via our Contact Us page if you would like to be part of this community and we will be in touch to talk through next steps!
